MS Stubnitz

In 1964, the MS Stubnitz was launched as a refrigerated cargo ship for the GDR’s deep-sea fishing fleet. In 1992, it was converted into a cultural vessel. Since 2013, the 80-meter-long ship has been docked in HafenCity and serves as a nonprofit cultural center. Concerts, club nights, performances, exhibitions, and conferences are held on board. The ship itself is protected as a cultural monument.
