PAL

[Currently closed] PAL shaped Hamburg’s techno scene for nine years, from 2014 until its closure on January 1, 2024. An initial relaunch at Congressplatz was planned for March 2024, but fell through weeks in advance due to unresolved obstacles. The sound system and crew continued under the name NTSC starting in December 2024. A second attempt to revive the PAL brand itself was set to launch in March 2026 at Hammerbrookstraße 43. Hours before the opening, this event also fell through, officially due to unresolved differences with authorities and the police. It remains to be seen whether PAL will open at this location.
