TOMS Hamburg

TOMS Hamburg is an institution: a club by men, for men, and a fixture of Hamburg nightlife since 1974. What began at Pulverteich more than fifty years ago has remained a home for the city's gay scene to this day. Men only is the rule here, and that is exactly what defines the place: being among your own, no explanations, no pretending. The club sits at Pulverteich 17 in St. Georg, just a few minutes' walk from Hamburg central station. St. Georg has been the queer heart of Hamburg for decades, and TOMS is one of the addresses that shaped the neighbourhood. Those who come here find dark corners, honest club atmosphere and nights that tend to run long. Between the bar and the dancefloor, a community gathers here that has carried this place for generations.
